Sexyy Red might be headed to court after a new lawsuit popped up against her this week. The $5 million demand is coming from close to home! Lawsuit Against Sexyy Red Says THIS

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Barnes filed the lawsuit on Monday (March 24). She claims that Sexyy Red, real name Janae Wherry, encouraged her supporters to harm her and provided information to do so. Nicole claims that on December 3, Red posted the address and photo of her home on Facebook. Apparently, the rapper told her fans to “kick in the door” of Nicole Barnes and put their hands on her.

It’s unclear what inspired the alleged post. An independent search by The Shade Room did not produce any results for a post on Sexyy Red’s official Facebook page. However, Barnes’ lawyer, Steven Weaver, reportedly said on Tuesday that Red and her son’s beefs are not his mother’s.

“Sexxy Red and her baby daddy are getting into beefs, for whatever reason, that have nothing to do with my client,” Weaver said.

Weaver added that Barnes’ legal team approached Sexyy Red’s attorneys, who took the approach as “a joke.” As mentioned, the paternity grandmother is asking for five million in damages for assault and intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress. Nicole Barnes also claims that she’s living in constant fear and had to move out of her home out of safety concerns. However, the 51-year-old allegedly hasn’t been able to find a satisfactory home.

What Is The Rapper Saying About This?

Sexyy Red has been active on her social media platforms but has yet to address the lawsuit against her. Still, no idea what transpired for Red to allegedly expose her child’s grandmother. However, on December 2, she went viral for shutting down one of her ex-boyfriend’s claims that she burned him with herpes. She addressed those claims on Twitter, now known as X.
