A new season is about to begin in Pokemon Go, and the mobile game is kicking it off in a big way with a variety of new and returning events throughout March.
The new Might and Mastery season will mark the arrival of the legendary Pokemon Kubfu, which will appear as part of the season-long Special Research story beginning March 5. On top of that, the game will host two Community Days this month, as well as a Dynamax Raikou Max Battle Weekend and a Mega Absol Raid Day.
That’s just the tip of the Bergmite for March’s activities, with the Bug Out, Festival of Colors, and more also on the horizon over the next few weeks. You can see all of the biggest events happening in Pokemon Go this month below.
Pokemon Go is refreshing its raid rotations once again beginning March 4.
The legendary birds Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres will return to five-star raids in the first half of the month, with Tapu Koko and Heatran slated to follow later in March. Mega Raids, meanwhile, will feature Mega Lucario, Mega Swampert, and Mega Pinsir, and Shadow Regice will appear in special Shadow Raids every weekend.
A new selection of Dynamax Pokemon will also appear in Max Battles throughout the month, including Chansey, Machop, and Caterpie. You can see March’s full Raid Schedule below:

Weekends in March
Pokemon Go is hosting more weekly Spotlight Hour events in March, with a new selection of featured Pokemon and bonuses to look forward to this month.
Every Tuesday evening from 6-7 PM local time, one particular species of Pokemon will be appearing in the wild more frequently, making this a good chance to fill out your Pokedex and stock up on candy. On top of that, you’ll earn an extra bonus during that hour, such as double XP or Stardust for catching Pokemon.

Pokemon Go is kicking its new season off with a new event called Powerful Potential, which runs from March 5-10.
The event will mark the start of the Might and Mastery Special Research story, which will introduce the legendary Wushu Pokemon Kubfu to the game. In addition, you’ll have your first chance to catch a shiny Charcadet during the event.
On top of the featured Pokemon, event-themed Timed and Field Research tasks will be available throughout the event, as will special Raid and Max Battle bosses.

Pokemon Go’s first Community Day of the month takes place on March 8 and stars the fire-type croc Fuecoco.
From 2-5 PM local time, Fuecoco will be appearing much more frequently in the wild, and you’ll have an increased chance of encountering a shiny Fuecoco. In addition, if you evolve Fuecoco’s evolved form, Crocalor, into Skeledirge by March 15, it will learn the special Charged Attack Blast Burn upon evolving.
Along with the increased Fuecoco spawns, a few bonuses will be available throughout the event as well. Any Lure Modules or Incense you use will last for three hours, and you’ll earn triple Stardust and double XP for catching Pokemon. The game will also offer special Timed and Field Research tasks to complete during the event.
The festivities continue with the return of the Festival of Colors event, which runs from March 13-17. More details will be announced closer to the event.
Pokemon Go players will have a chance to add another Dynamax legendary Pokemon to their collection with a special Dynamax Raikou Max Battle Weekend scheduled for March 15-16.
Along with a chance to challenge Dynamax Raikou in five-star Max Battles, the event will offer a handful of bonuses. The Max Particle collection limit will be temporarily increased to 1,600, and Power Spots will refresh more frequently. You’ll also get eight times the usual amount of Max Particles from Power Spots.
Pokemon Go is hosting another Catch Mastery event, this one starring the fossil Pokemon Archen. The event is scheduled to take place March 16 from 10 AM to 8 PM local time.
Pokemon Go’s Might and Mastery season continues with a new event called Deep Depths, which is slated to run March 19-24. Additional details about the event will be revealed later in March.
March’s second Community Day event is slated for March 22, and it will be a Community Day Classic starring the water-type Pokemon Totodile.
Throughout the event, Totodile will be appearing in the wild much more frequently, and you’ll have increased odds of encountering a shiny Totodile. Additionally, any Croconaw that you evolve into Feraligatr until March 29 will learn the Charged Attack Hydro Cannon.
On top of that, the game will offer event-themed Timed and Field Research tasks to complete, as well as a handful of bonuses. Lure Modules and Incense will remain active for three hours rather than their usual duration, and any eggs you place into Incubators will hatch at a quarter of the distance they normally require.
Mega Absol is the star of another special Raid Day event scheduled for March 23.
Pokemon Go’s Bug Out returns March 26-30. The event traditionally revolves around bug-type Pokemon, but Niantic is keeping details about this year’s celebration secret until later in the month.
Pokemon Go is capping March off with a Fuzzy Buddy Research Day on March 29. More details will be announced closer to the event.
